As an American School, we recognize that the years spent in school are essential in preparing our students for success in life. At…. Our goal is to make every student succeed by providing opportunities for students to become confident open-minded future leaders who are prepared to face challenges as global citizens. We are also proud of our caring, inclusive philosophy where we set high standards and expectations for our students to attain their maximum potential. My vision, as the principal, is to ensure that students come first! I believe that all students are capable and can learn. As educators, we need to determine how each child learns to differentiate our instruction to support diverse learning styles. In a collaborative effort, we want children to thrive in all ways possible. I hope that all children will love school and we strive to nurture a learning environment that is positive, safe, warm, caring, as well as a fun place to learn and grow.
In our school, the success of students is attributed to the partnership and the relationships we build within our community. We value teamwork and collaboration! Education is a joint venture and we greatly appreciate the supporting parent provide for the children at home and at school to help them meet their learning goals. Parents’ relentless support and contributions make (name school) so unique and successful. Through the American curriculum, our academic standards at (IEC) continue to improve throughout the academic year.  For every student who is enrolled in our school community, we want them to feel a sense of empowerment and belonging, as this is essential to their future success. Our extraordinary facilities, technology integration across curricular and dedicated staff enable us to deliver our programs in an environment that is intimate, friendly, and attuned to every specific educational need. We aim to create student agency where students voice is heard and feel empowered to take ownership of their learning. We thereby ensure success for all by providing students with the necessary skills to flourish in an ever-changing and ever-demanding labor market. Our curriculum will continue to further develop Arabic and the Islamic departments. We believe in a strong sense of continuity between the customs and traditions of the country and our teaching practices. Hence, learning of the culture will be central to our educational practice, whilst implementing a more rigorous international American-based curriculum blended with global learning.

Also supports students’ efforts to gain an understanding of the world and help students establish personal values as a foundation upon which international mindedness will develop and flourish,

Languages taught in school

Learning a language is a complex, time-intensive task that requires dedication, persistence, and hard work. At ( name of school) our program offers students opportunities to learn English, Chinese, and German. Our program is dedicated to preparing students to be successful in school and to be active, lifelong learners. The inclusion and opportunities to learn multiple languages are designed for students to provide a framework of learning which encourages students to become creative, critical, and reflective thinkers. Language learning emphasizes intellectual challenge while encouraging students to make connections between their studies in traditional subjects and to the real world. The aim of teaching other languages in school is the development of skills for communication, intercultural understanding, and global engagement.
