|Question Bank Projects||Question banks in Brief :
Since 2014 AD, the Islamic Educational College’s schools have been developing question banks (it is a safe system for storing questions that have distinct psychometric characteristics and are known from the parameters of the paragraphs, such as the difficulty of the paragraph and its discriminatory significance).
The sections of the banks were formed according to the established curricula of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan’s Ministry of Education, and the banks contributed to making the process of measuring students’ achievement easier by using modern methods of constructing and preparing achievement tests, which allows for the creation of multiple tests that meet the requirements of a good test.
Furthermore, the existence of statistics is critical in analyzing students’ results to develop policies ,strategies, and procedural plans of the IEC in order to improve education, boost students’ accomplishment levels, and improve their abilities and capacities. The question banks also aid in identifying the learning outcomes that the student has not learned so that he can be assisted in mastering them and remedial plans can be developed.
Moreover , the question banks help to prepare enrichment plans for students with greater talents, which aids in the individualization of teaching and assessment.
|The project’s vision is for the question bank to be a tributary for technical, educational, and administrative school cadres with everything related to the various tests that are conducted in the school; formative, summative, and diagnostic , as well as contributing to improving school efficiency through accurate scientific foundations.
Project Mission :
Preparing test paragraphs in a secure system characterized by modern scientific specifications of various levels, through which it is simple to construct tests with scientific and practical (balanced) specifications in order to achieve justice and equal opportunities among students at the Islamic Educational College’s schools.
Aims of the project
1- Increasing the comprehensiveness of final exams in accordance with approved curriculum.
2- Creating a library of paragraphs that are tied to specific learning objectives.
3- Access to test paragraphs that have been calibrated and have precise statistical properties.
4- Improving the accuracy of correction and the speed with which findings are extracted.
5- The ease with which equal tests can be created, as well as tests with specified criteria.
6- Using standard scores to describe student productivity (AQ) (a standard score derived from a final test in a particular subject with its various units in order to assess the student’s ability within his category, with an average of 100 and a standard deviation of 15, and it aims to know the student’s position compared to his peers)
7- Obtaining detailed results and reports (question bank outputs), such as:
a. Unfinished outputs for each student
b. A list of outputs and the percentage of non-accuracy for a single output at the grade and topic level of a specific school.
c. The names of pupils who did not master the output at the one-output level.
d. The names of the pupils with low achievement based on their final exam total score.
e. For the final exams, determining the names of students with low achievement based on the grade of each unit of a single topic.
8- Using measurement and post-evaluation to analyze the gap following the supervision’s remedial strategies for correcting the deficient outputs.
|English Language Development Program||The school offers an English language conversation program that includes a qualified teacher who assists pupils with the pronunciation of the English language.
