The Islamic Educational College (IEC) is located in both Jabal Amman and Al-Jubaiha and is under the administration of the Islamic Cultural Society (ICS). The Islamic Cultural Society thrives to provide full support to IEC schools by meeting all their needs.

1947
Founded by the Islamic cultural Society, The Islamic Educational College- Amman opened its doors in 1947 for all the citizens of Jordan (non Jordanians also) with only 155 students. It was opened by His Majesty peace be upon him King Abdullah the founder.We are honerd to have His Majesty King Hussien -peace be upon him- as one of our students at that time.

1950's
1950: IEC Published its first monthly mMagazine “Manhal”. The magazine’s content was mainly written by IEC’s students and faculty. However, it was not limited to the Islamic Educational College, but was extended to other schools and even universities outside Jordan.
1952: The clock tower is the first thing that grabs attention in Jabal Amman. This unique piece is a replica of the famous Big Ben. Two models of this clock have been made by Dairby sons, one in our schools and the other one is in the UK.
1953: The Girls School in Jabal Amman was opened.

1960's
Many Football games (Local and national) took place on the school’s playground.
1963: Main Theater in Jabal Amman was Built.
1967: It was an honor for the school to have some of the Royal Jordanian Family members (King Abdullah, Prince Faisal) among its students in addition to many distinguished figures locally and internationally.

1988: IEC opened its second Branch in Jubeiha
1990's
2000's
2000: IEC has received the ISO9001 Certificate
2003: IEC Schools won His Majesty King Abdullah Ⅱ Award for Excellence (3rd Round) in large service institutions which is one of the most prestigious awards on the national level.
2004: IEC opened its British Programme in Jubeiha
2010's
2010: IEC opened its First American Program in Jabal Amman
2011: Community Service Program was established
2015: Weather Forcast Station in Jabal Amman
2015: IEC Schools won Khalifa Award for Projects and Innovative Educational Programmes/throughout the Arab World / for Question Bank Project.
2019: IEC opened its First International Baccalurate and Second American Program along with a Vocational program for the national program Students in the Jubeiha Branch.

2020's
2021: IEC opened the BTEC program
