Students of the Parliamentary Council at Islamic Educational College Schools paid an official visit to the Jordanian House of Representatives with the aim of learning about the nature of legislative work and the oversight role carried out by members of parliament.
During the visit, officials at the council provided an explanation of the stages of drafting laws and the mechanisms of discussing them within parliamentary committees, in addition to clarifying the role of general sessions in making legislative decisions.
This visit comes as part of the school parliamentary council’s programs aimed at promoting a culture of civic participation, developing students’ leadership skills, and introducing them to state institutions and their role in serving society.
