Under the gracious patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, the 9th Arab Conference on Professional Training and its accompanying exhibition were held from November 18–19, 2025, at the Amman Chamber of Commerce Theatre. The conference was organized under the theme: “The Path of Vocational and Technical Education and Training within the Framework of Arab and International Qualifications,” as part of joint cooperation between the Amman Chamber of Commerce, the Arab Trainers Union, and the Jordanian Trainers Association.

The Islamic Educational College Schools had a distinguished and valuable presence at the event, represented by the participation of Mrs. Sanaa Arar, Coordinator of the British Programme and the BTEC Vocational and Technical Education Coordinator for international programmes. Mrs. Arar took part as a keynote speaker in an important panel session titled: “Curriculum and Pathway Alignment: The Learner’s Journey from School to Diploma Level 4 + 5.” During the session, she presented insightful perspectives on achieving harmony between different curricula and educational pathways, emphasizing the importance of integrating academic and vocational education. She also highlighted “Inspirational Success Stories,” while student Ahmad Fatafteh shared a firsthand testimony about the opportunities and challenges he encountered in his vocational journey.

This conference not only underscores the importance of vocational and technical education as a promising future pathway, but also reflects our commitment to enhancing skills and aligning them with labor market needs. The accompanying exhibition serves as a strategic platform to showcase pioneering initiatives and innovative training programmes that support the development of qualified and specialized competencies.
